AR 708-1 covers Federal Catalog System participation, supply classification, non-standard material, logistics reassignments, Army unique data, part number conversion, obsolescence management, and item management coding. The Federal Catalog System (FCS) procedures will be used to develop federal item identification (FII) data. (paragraph 1-6)
