How many times must airdrop loads be inspected?
Prior to airdrop, inspect loads or containers rigged for airdrop three times separately. (paragraph 2-2)
What inspection records must rigging units keep?
Rigging units will maintain a copy (paper or digital) of all three inspection forms (local and/or DoD). (paragraph 2-2)
How quickly must airdrop malfunctions and incidents be reported?
Report all malfunctions, incidents, or damage to airdropped equipment and/or aircraft through the command channels of the owning unit immediately. (paragraph 4-1)
When will an airdrop load be rejected?
An airdrop load will not be accepted unless it is rigged per specific TMs, TOs, or NAVAIR and/or NAVSEA publications distributed by USAQMS, ADFSD, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, or the Joint Special Operations Command. (paragraph 2-2)
