User Data:
Reggie.Bot does not collect any personal information from users beyond standard website access and usage statistics provided by Google Cloud and Google Analytics. Those statistics include an approximate location that Google derives from your IP address; Reggie.Bot does not request or use your device's location, and holds no location permission on any platform.
The Android app contains no analytics. Website access statistics apply to the website only. See the [Privacy Policy](Privacy-Policy) for what each one collects.
Security Measures:
Reggie.Bot employs standard HTTPS encryption throughout. The site itself is hosted by GitHub Pages and the search service runs on Google Cloud Run. Publication data is served from Supabase over a read-only key. All AI requests use the official OpenAI libraries.
Third-Party Services:
Queries made by users are sent to OpenAI for chat generation and file search purposes. They are not sent to Google Analytics. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users interact with our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. You can learn more about how Google Analytics collects and processes data by visiting Google's Privacy & Terms page. By using our website, you consent to our use of Google Analytics as described in our Privacy Policy.
User Responsibility:
Users are advised not to include sensitive or confidential details in their queries. Queries should be sanitized to avoid including specifics such as names or locations unless absolutely necessary. Reggie.Bot is designed to provide information based on general queries and is not intended for handling confidential or sensitive data.
Public Regulations Only:
The regulations that Reggie.Bot has access to are all completely public, provided from the Army Publishing Directorate. CAC-restricted regulations are not included in the file search function.
Queries:
Queries are not stored by Reggie.Bot but are subject to the terms and conditions of OpenAI. For more information, please refer to OpenAI's Terms of Service.
