NSIC provides foundational intelligence analysis and production to support national and military space missions and evaluate capabilities, performance, limitations, and vulnerabilities of space and counterspace systems and services. (paragraph 1)
NSIC is a field operating agency (FOA) organized under and reporting to the Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Intelligence (SF/S2), who will provide technical direction and guidance. (paragraph 1)
NSIC operates, maintains, and manages multiple analytic and production tools at various classification levels to fulfill requirements for service, joint, and national consumers. (paragraph 1)
