USSPACEFOR-NORTH is a Component Field Command of the United States Space Force (USSF) and is the Space Force Service Component assigned to the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM). (paragraph 1)
The Commander USSPACEFOR-NORTH (COMSPACEFOR-NORTH) reports and is responsible to the Chief of Space Operations for the execution of the Secretary of the Air Force’s responsibilities to provide Service-specific administration and support functions for USSF forces assigned or attached to USNORTHCOM, to include specified administrative control of combat formations allocated by other Field Commands, as directed. (paragraph 2)
The COMSPACEFOR-NORTH exercises operational and tactical control of USSF forces as delegated by the CDRUSNORTHCOM. (paragraph 2)
The COMSPACEFOR-NORTH, if designated as the Theater/Joint Forces Space Component Commander, provides command and control to all space forces made available by CDRUSNORTHCOM, or Presidential directives. (paragraph 2)
Plan, integrate, synchronize, and execute space operations and the delivery of space effects as directed by CDRUSNORTHCOM, and provide support, as directed, to North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) objectives. (paragraph 3)
