It establishes organizational responsibilities, authorities, and processes for managing USSF DOTmLPF-P Analysis. It requires the DOTmLPF-P framework for activities including new systems, system modifications, and operational procedure adjustments, with deviations documented and approved.
Applies to: This publication does not apply to the United States Air Force, except units performing space missions.
The USSF will utilize the DOTmLPF-P framework as the foundational methodology for all activities related to capability development, requirements definition, gap analysis, and solution generation.
Any proposed deviation from this standard must be documented and approved by Chief of Space Operations (CSO) or a designated board.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
The authorities to waive installation/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, and T-3”) number following the compliance statement.
