Provides Department of Defense global, secure, protected, jam-resistant communications for high priority military ground, sea and air assets. (paragraph 1)
As directed by CDRUSSTRATCOM the Joint Force Space Component Commander (JFSCC) exercises operational command and will serve as the single point of contact for military space operational matters to plan, task, direct, and execute space operations. (paragraph 2)
Combatant Command authority is vested in Commander, United States Strategic Command (CDRUSSTRATCOM), through its command and control facilities. (paragraph 2)
The squadron commander is authorized to communicate, coordinate, and work with other units or agencies on matters relating to mission accomplishment or regarding administrative or logistical support under applicable support agreements and letters of understanding. (paragraph 2)
