The purpose of the spacecrew Stan/Eval program, a component of the RSP, is to provide commanders a tool to validate the readiness and effectiveness of their unit’s spacecrew operations.
The spacecrew Stan/Eval program also provides commanders the means to document individual spacecrew member qualifications, certifications, and capabilities, and provide commanders feedback on the effectiveness of unit training programs and mission execution.
