Commanders will keep records at the unit and individual levels to record training achievements, identify training gaps and document objective assessments of readiness associated with training Marines. (paragraph 3)
Formal school and training detachment commanders will use references (a) and (e) to ensure programs of instruction meet skill training requirements established in this manual and provides career-progression training in the events designated for initial training in the formal school environment. (paragraph 3)
The training and readiness (T&R) program is the Corps' primary tool for planning, conducting and evaluating training, and assessing training readiness. (paragraph 1)
Each event is composed of an individual event title, condition, standard, performance steps, support requirements, and references. (paragraph 2)
