Commanders will keep records at the unit and individual levels to record training achievements, identify training gaps and document objective assessments of readiness associated with training Marines and assigned Navy personnel. (paragraph 3)
Formal school and training detachment commanders will use references (a) and (e) to ensure programs of instruction meet skill training requirements established in this manual and provides career-progression training in the events designated for initial training in the formal school environment. (paragraph 3)
Distance learning products include: Individual multimedia instruction, computer-based training, MarineNet, etc. (paragraph 6)
To secure an objective, personnel, and material from a hostile threat. (paragraph 3)
To support the scheme of maneuver and sustain operations. (paragraph 5)
