Per reference (a), this Training and Readiness (T&R) Manual, contained in enclosure (1), establishes training standards, regulations, and policies regarding the training of Marines and assigned in the Ground Safety occupational field. (paragraph 1)
Per reference (b), commanders will conduct an internal assessment of the unit’s ability to execute its mission and develop long-, mid-, and shortrange training plans to sustain proficiency and correct deficiencies. (paragraph 3)
Commanders will keep records at the unit and individual levels to record training achievements, identify training gaps and document objective assessments of readiness associated with training Marines. (paragraph 3)
CRP is the percentage of required training events that a unit or Marine accomplishes within specified sustainment intervals. (paragraph 2)
The Ground Safety Officer/Specialist is tasked to manage a comprehensive unit safety program. (paragraph 4)
