Professionals practice active supervision with focused attention and intentional observation of children at all times. Professionals position themselves to observe all children by watching and listening at all times. (paragraph 1)
Supervision of Youth Programs (YP) does not require continuous sight or sound observation of youth participants. Professionals must maintain situational awareness of a youth’s location and activities. (paragraph 1)
