Reference (a) requires the submission of a POI every three (3) years, unless otherwise directed. (paragraph 1)
A formal school is an institute that analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates a program of instruction (POI) or curricula approved by the appropriate general / flag officer to meet specified training and education requirements. (paragraph 4)
Formal schools will submit a plan of action and milestones (POA&M) to the POI approval authority within 30 days of any event requiring a CRB. (paragraph 2)
At no time will school commanders edit the prerequisites or TPD for the course to make the entry requirements for the course more demanding or restrictive than is communicated in the MOS manual without CG TECOM review and authorization. (paragraph 4)
