Training data management begins with the initial phase of planning and is continuous to facilitate the commander’s assessments.
Every Marine is engaged in their unit’s training in some capacity—as a training planner, unit leader, or Marine participating in training.
The primary purpose of TDM is to facilitate commander assessments by ensuring the availability of timely and accurate training information. (paragraph 1)
