The MDDP standardizes deployment and distribution processes to enhance management of distribution capacity, control, and visibility of personnel, supplies, and equipment from the sea, across the seaward and land areas of the battle space, and through the air in garrison. (paragraph 1)
Commanders will ensure this Order is understood and implemented. (paragraph 4)
Maintain transactions for a minimum of 10 years (3 years active and 7 years archived) in order to provide a complete audit trail, in accordance with reference (g). (paragraph 4)
The transaction history audit trail shall include the information system transaction record and the source document that prompted the information system transaction, if one is produced. (paragraph 4)
Timely, accurate in-transit information shall be available to all users and logistics managers in a standard format adequate to satisfy needs. (paragraph 4)
