MCO 3571.2H addresses EOD personnel, operations, training, safety, logistics, publications, insignia, and reporting. It requires EOD units to manage their programs in accordance with the Order and maintain specified screening, training, equipment, and records.
Applies to: This Order is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
All EOD personnel will be annually screened for continued service in the EOD MOS using NAVMC 11362. (paragraph 4)
Marines must have 36 months obligated service remaining upon completion of EOD School. (paragraph 4)
EOD personnel are not authorized to teach EOD techniques and/or procedures to non-EOD qualified personnel within the DoD. (paragraph 1-4)
Commanders shall ensure that EOD units develop a comprehensive training program, ensuring technical skill requirements for both individual and collective training are satisfied per references (m) and (af). (paragraph 1-2)
All EOD units are authorized to maintain a training aids library consisting of inert explosive ordnance items. (paragraph 1-4)
