MCO 3430.2D addresses electromagnetic spectrum operations, EW data sharing, mission planning, coordination, execution, and assessment. It requires Marines to integrate EW sensor data and coordinate integrated EW operations to support mission success.
Further, the ability of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) to establish and maintain EMS freedom of maneuver, while disrupting and denying our adversary’s use, at the time and place of the commander's choosing, is critical to mission success across the full range of military operations. Marines must be organized, trained, and equipped to integrate organic and non-organic EW sensor data to gain and maintain situational awareness, target and attack the enemy, and develop and execute protection measures in support of the commander’s scheme of maneuver. (paragraph 3)
