Questions and answers

What minimum imagery is required for a complete activity or mission acquisition?

The minimum images required are; establishing/overall, medium, close-up, interaction, sequence and closing image and interviews (required element for video). (paragraph 4)

How must digital still imagery be recorded?

Set digital still cameras to acquire imagery using RAW/JPEG recording.

How soon must RAW files be forwarded after imagery acquisition?

RAW files will be forwarded to CCM/CCMS no later than 30 days after acquisition of the imagery.

What information must be included in video slates?

The caption information will include all the details of the production, including who, what, where, when, why and how.

What information may not be included in image metadata or captions?

Personal Identifiable Information (PII) will not be included within any part of the meta-data or caption of a product or image. (paragraph 1-3)
