Applies to: This Order establishes policies and procedures governing management of RC member AD beyond 16 years of cumulative AD service.
Act as the approval authority for all AD orders over 29 days that shall enable a Reserve Marine to accumulate more than 16 years AD. (paragraph 4)
16 year threshold: Request a High Active Duty Time (HADT) waiver from DC M&RA per the process outlined in Figure 2-1 of enclosure (1). (paragraph 4)
The waiver request shall require endorsement by the first General Officer (GO)/Flag Officer (FO)/Senior Executive Service (SES) within the Marine’s chain of command. (paragraph 4)
Prior to execution of orders, all Reserve personnel shall review and certify the amount of their cumulative AD service. (paragraph 4)
In summary, individual submission of a HADT waiver request nor a HADT waiver with voluntary waiver of sanctuary are applicable to involuntarily activations. (paragraph 4)
