Successive individual awards for the same Marine will not be approved. (paragraph 1)
Previous recipients are ineligible for re-nomination for the same award. (paragraph 1)
Posthumous awards may be presented, provided the nominee meets all eligibility and award criteria in this Order and the respective enclosure. (paragraph 2)
Nominations must arrive by the deadline published in the message for these awards. The published deadline will be a date no later than the last day in February. (paragraph 3)
