The Marine Corps Junior Enlisted Performance Evaluation System (JEPES) is the means by which Marines in the grades Private through Corporal are evaluated and recommended for promotion to the next higher grade. (paragraph 1)
Requirements in this Order are binding on all commanders, OICs, Senior Enlisted Leaders and personnel serving as reporting officials. (paragraph 3)
Any deviation from instructions in this Order and future revisions must be authorized by the CMC (MMRP-33). (paragraph 3)
The FLS shall: (1) Provide the MRO an initial written counseling within 30 days of the relationship being established, defining the MRO’s billet description, role in the unit, responsibilities, and performance expectations. (paragraph 4)
Complete an evaluation when the MRO is promoted to the rank of Corporal or Sergeant. TO DATE: The day prior to the MRO’s new date of rank. (paragraph 4)
