It establishes TECOM’s role in leading the training and education continuum, supporting entry-level, advanced individual, unit-level, and service-level training. It requires standards-based learning, consistent preparation and evaluation, and continuous development of Marines across a career learning continuum.
TECOM leads the Marine Corps’ standards-based T&E continuum to make Marines, conduct officer and enlisted entry-level and advanced individual training, provide support to unit-level training, execute servicelevel training exercises, and provide professional military education in order to develop skilled, cognitively agile, and lethal Marines who are prepared to fight at all echelons of the total force. (paragraph 3)
Everything TECOM does to conceptualize, develop, coordinate, enable, and execute T&E must optimize and sustain the cognitive and professional development of Marines across a career learning continuum. (paragraph 4)
TECOM establishes a T&E system that develops highly adaptive, critically thinking Marines and interoperable units capable of achieving decisive effect across all warfighting domains. (paragraph 4)
The Marine Corps training and education (T&E) system develops adaptive and decisive Marines imbued with a maneuver warfare philosophy and oriented on competition in dynamic naval environments. (paragraph 1)
