It publishes individual Training and Education requirements for core and non-core requirements, including training delivery methods and completion frequency. It establishes requirements for command training guidance, waivers, and prioritizing training that supports unit missions.
Applies to: This Order is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
Every Marine will complete the T&E requirements listed in enclosure (2). (paragraph 4)
In cases where the frequency of training specified in this Order differs from the frequency specified in references (a) through (ah), the information in this Order takes precedence. (paragraph 4)
Training delivery methods are listed in enclosure (2) and include leader-led training, unit training using Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), credentialed agents, or computer-based training. (paragraph 4)
For the majority of the non-core (ancillary) requirements that have more than one delivery method available, commanders will determine the training delivery method. (paragraph 4)
If training cannot be met, a waiver request must be submitted. (paragraph 4)
