The primary mission of HMX-1 is the safe and timely transport of the President of the United States and Vice President of the United States, members of the President’s Cabinet, and foreign dignitaries as directed by the White House Military Office. (paragraph 3)
HMX-1 Manpower Officer will continually coordinate with Manpower Management Integration Branch (MMIB) for gains and losses analytical products to project future Presidential Support Duty (PSD) staffing requirements out to 16 months from present month. (paragraph 2)
Marines identified for screenable billet assignments to HMX-1 will have the opportunity for orders refusal up to 13 months prior to the intended assignment report date. (paragraph 4)
Once a nominee is identified for HMX-1 assignment, HMX-1 is responsible for coordinating with the nominee’s current command to ensure that required security clearance investigations are initiated within 30 days of identification for assignment. (paragraph 2)
If a nominee fails to receive an eligibility determination from the Department of Navy Central Adjudication Facility (DONCAF), HMX-1 will notify MM and request the nominee be dropped from consideration for assignment to HMX-1. (paragraph 2)
