It requires accurate asset, accounting, inventory, transfer, shipment, and supporting-documentation data in applicable processes.
Once an asset becomes a component it remains a component for life, it cannot revert to an end item.

The custodian must be the same as the parent asset. (paragraph 3)
Attachments are mandatory for Capital Assets.
UIC transfers only occur within the same Site Id.
