When conducting facility compliance activities, basic PPE must include: a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and leather gloves for abrasion hazards. (paragraph 1)
Prior approval of the COTP is required for such operations under 33 CFR § 126.30. (paragraph 3)
In accordance with Reference (f), activities without deficiencies identified should be entered in MISLE and closed within seven days of completion of a facility compliance activity. (paragraph 5)
Not less than once each quarter, each unit must identify open activities and unresolved deficiencies in MISLE, and, if possible, take proper action to close the activity or resolve the deficiency. (paragraph 6)
