All personnel participating in match competitions will follow the guidelines outlined in Reference (b). Any competition not supported by Reference (b) needs approval from Commandant (CG-721).
Individuals requesting match firearms and ammunition must submit a memorandum through their chain of command and Commandant (CG-721).
Active participation is considered two matches annually, one being a state level and the other service match.
Any match firearm that is not being used by an active participant must be returned to SARF for use at other units.
