Applies to: It applies to all persons entering WPAFB for the purpose of hunting, fishing, using fish and wildlife habitats, or attempting to take fish and wildlife from WPAFB grounds.
All active duty and retired military members, active and retired DOD civilian employees, members of national guard/reserve components of the military, contract employees possessing a current ‘common access card’ (CAC), immediate family members, and bona fide guests thereof are eligible to hunt or fish. (paragraph 1)
WPAFB Hunting and fishing permits are non-transferable, and fees are non-refundable. (paragraph 3)
Shotguns and muzzleloading shotguns are the only type of firearm allowed at WPAFB. (paragraph 5)
Persons engaged in hunting and or fishing on WPAFB must have in their possession all Ohio and federal licenses, permits, and stamps as required by those agencies, in addition to the required base permits(s). (paragraph 5)
Trapping of animals, including game species, is not allowed unless approved in writing. (paragraph 4)
