It covers servicing, inspection, and maintenance or repair for transient aerospace vehicles. It requires maintenance, funding, labor, material, production, and time-and-attendance actions for these aircraft.
Applies to: It establishes procedures to be followed when performing maintenance on transient aircraft (i.e., aircraft not assigned to Robins Air Force Base that are enroute from one location to another that may require maintenance).
The appropriate 402 AMXG maintenance squadron will immediately begin work on the transient aircraft under duty code .25 with special project code sub shred 90 (Stand-by Awaiting Proper Paperwork). (paragraph 1)
After completing transient maintenance, the 402 AMXG maintenance squadron will provide 402 AMXG/MXDSR Workloading the labor hours and material costs expended to accomplish the maintenance. (paragraph 1)
If the aircraft is from a foreign military or another branch of service, a new PCN will have to be created. (paragraph 1)
402 AMXG/MXDSR Workloading will forward a cost estimate to WR-ALC/OBWB, who in turn, will request an Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Form 206, Temporary Work Request, from the System Program Office (SPO), an AF Form 185, Project Order (PO), or a DD Form 448-2, Acceptance of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR), from another branch of services (includes foreign military) appropriate unit/squadron. (paragraph 1)
After production count is taken against the AFMC Form 206, 402 AMXG/MXDSR Workloading will have the .2590 hours reversed in Time and Attendance (TAA) and applied to the funded direct temporary job order number (JON).
