Applies to: This instruction applies to controlled unclassified information (CUI) under the purview of relevant statutes, regulations, and directives.
During an emergency, secure classified only when time and circumstances permit before evacuating an area. (paragraph 1)
If, upon returning, classified material is missing or compromised, comply with AFI 16-1404_AFMCSUP, Chapter 7. (paragraph 1)
For phone call threats, try to prolong the conversation to obtain pertinent information. (paragraph 7)
All personnel will contact Security 30 days prior to traveling outside the U.S., to include Mexico, Bahamas and Canada, for official or unofficial travel.
Newly assigned personnel to the organization must receive initial security orientation training via EIMC within 30 days of arrival or prior to accessing classified information, whichever comes first.
