Fire Involving Cargo: Do not attempt to deal with the fire, evacuate the area and contact the emergency services. (paragraph 3)
If cargo is damaged or endangered, where practicable keep unauthorized persons outside a 100m radius.
The vehicle is not to be moved without permission from the emergency services.
Radio transmissions (not reception) are dangerous, transmitting must be prohibited within the following distances from the load: Hand sets – 10m, Vehicle sets – 50m.
Always assume that EEDs are in the load unless it is certain that they are not.
