How long are U.S. Forces privately owned firearm registrations valid?

U.S. Forces POF registrations (AE Form 190-6B) are valid for 4 years after the date of registration. (paragraph 1)

When is a renewal notice sent for a privately owned firearm registration?

The RMV Weapons Section will send a renewal notice for each POF registration to the POF owner 75 days before the expiration date. (paragraph 1)

Where must privately owned firearms be registered?

All persons within the scope of applicability of this regulation are prohibited from registering their POFs directly with local German authorities, but must register them with the BVA through the RMV Weapons Section at USAREUR OPM (AEOP-PM-VR/Weapons Section), Unit 29230, APO AE 09136-9230.
