It covers MPA components, forms and administrative processes, deficiencies, probation, appeals, corrections, summer MPA, and program oversight. The instruction requires compliance with its attachments and establishes procedures for feedback, assessment, and MPA administration in CAMIS.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all personnel who evaluate and/or provide feedback to cadets on their aptitude for commissioned service and officership potential.
Is composed of subjective and objective components. The weighting of subjective and objective components varies by class year as reflected in Attachment 3. (paragraph 3)
Cadet graders conduct PAIs using AFCW Form 304 for grading criteria. Cadets receive an average of all required PAIs over the course of a semester. (paragraph 3)
A MPA score below 2.0 is considered substandard performance. An MPA below 2.0 at the end of the semester will result in the cadet being placed on formal probation.
Ratee-requested CCA sessions will be accomplished within seven days of the ratee’s request.
If the cadet does not agree with an “objective” score, the cadet has five duty days from the objective event to notify their chain of command. (paragraph 6)
