USAFAI36-2015 governs the responsibilities, policies, and procedures for cadet Commissioning Education Courses.

It integrates Commissioning Sources Institutional Competency Learning Outcomes into the USAFA Course of Instruction. It requires annual course-input validation, mandatory attendance for specified cadets, and reporting on compliance with commissioning education program requirements.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all USAFA personnel while instructing Commissioning Education materials to USAFA cadets.
Course directors/program managers will validate inputs once per year for each course participating in achieving the CICLOs. (paragraph 2)
All Commissioning Education Courses are graduation and Commissioning requirements and must be completed by all Cadets. (paragraph 4)
Commissioning Education class attendance is mandatory for all four-year cadets, one-semester foreign exchange students participating in the Cadet Semester Exchange Abroad Program (CSEAP), and Service Academy Exchange cadets. (paragraph 4)
A grade of less than 75% on any exam constitutes a failure of the course. (paragraph 4)
The CTEC will produce an annual report, by 1 July, for the Commandant of Cadets, the Dean of the Faculty, and the Athletic Director summarizing the compliance with commissioning education program requirements and a statistical summary of the elements referenced in paragraph 2.5.1 of this document.
