Applies to: This publication applies to all USAFA personnel, military, and civilian, and contractors.
Personnel subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) who fail to comply with this instruction are subject to punishment under the UCMJ, as well as to adverse administrative action and other adverse action authorized by applicable United States Code (U.S.C.), including assimilated state law, or the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Personnel not subject to the UCMJ who fail to comply with this instruction are subject to adverse administrative action or criminal prosecution as authorized by applicable sections of the U.S.C. or CFR, including disciplinary action according to appropriate civilian personnel regulations.
The waiver authority for non-tiered requirements in this publication is the 10 SFS/CC.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority.
