To minimize the long-term cost of the infrastructure, the following local standards are established and may only be changed when approved in writing by the CSO or AHJ. (paragraph 9)
The contracting company shall have a minimum of five years’ experience in the design, application, and installation and testing of the specified systems and equipment. (paragraph 1)
Installation supervisors shall have a minimum of three years’ experience in the installation of the specified fiber optic and copper cable and associated hardware. (paragraph 1)
Install a maximum of 50 pair copper outside plant cable to support systems not supported by fiber for new construction. (paragraph 9)
All cable used for telecommunications outlets shall be four pair, solid copper conductor, green CAT 6A or higher standard, UL tested and certified. (paragraph 9)
