Applies to: It applies to all organizations and individuals requesting use of the GTA, including Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and the Air National Guard (ANG) units.
The 72 ABW/IGI personnel manage the GTA. (paragraph 1)
Official training requests take priority over unofficial requests. (paragraph 1)
After a request is approved, 72 ABW/IGI personnel will issue keys to the GTA on an AF Form 1297 Temporary Issue Receipt, inform the 72 SFS Emergency Communication Center (ECC) at 734-3737 and 72 CEF at 734-3964 that authorized personnel will be utilizing the GTA on the date requested.
Munitions allowed in the GTA are restricted to 5.56 or 7.62mm blank ammunition. (T- 3). (paragraph 2)
Blank ammunition will not be fired from any weapon that does not have a blank adapter installed. (paragraph 1)
