Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (AFB) does not have a certified detention area on the installation. (paragraph 1)
Pretrial detainees and adjudged inmates with sentences up to one year are to be sent to Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST) Regional Brig located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (NC) in accordance with (IAW) approved Memorandum of Understanding. (paragraph 1)
All individuals assigned escort duties must undergo Escort/Chaser Training either through the Confinement NCO or other certified military corrections facility at least one week prior to inmate sentencing. (paragraph 2)
If an inmate must be taken anywhere within the confines of Seymour Johnson AFB, the minimum number of escorts will be two personnel. (paragraph 2)
Do not touch inmates except to conduct a search, render first aid, to prevent an escape, or subdue violent or combative inmates for their own self-protection or protection of others. (paragraph 2)
