Applies to: This Instruction applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard who provide or utilize weather support for Ramstein Air Base (RAB), except where noted otherwise.
Major changes include: Continuity of operations contact information and procedures, Geographically Separated Units (GSU) support, reciprocal support agreements, and incorporating updates to Air Force Weather (AFW) publications.
Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the OPR using the AF 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF 847s from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately to the Publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items.
