It covers post and core fabrication, dental restorations, dental implants, CAD/CAM procedures, and 3D printed restorations. The package requires task evaluation with performance checklists and documentation of completed tasks.
Applies to: All QTPs are intended to be used by trainees, trainers, supervisors, and task certifiers.
If the trainee does not accomplish the module, conduct follow-up instruction until the trainee successfully completes the task. (paragraph 6)
When you are satisfied the trainee meets standards, as prescribed in the QTP performance checklist, you must document each task completion in the QTP tab. (paragraph 2)
If this is the case, you are authorized to make changes to the first half of each module, (i.e. steps in task performance); however, the “performance checklist” is considered a standard and cannot be altered. (paragraph 2)
Throughout this process, stress the importance of a properly designed restoration that meet form, function and esthetic requirements. (paragraph 7)
