It covers MSA Passport and Sirius detector checks, calibration, gas concentration measurement, and data recording. It also contains training and certification tasks for confined space testing and reviews of master entry plans and non-routine permits.
(1) Is large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work. (2) Has limited or restricted means for entry or exit (for example, tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, and pits are spaces that may have limited means of entry.); and (3) Is not designed for continuous employee occupancy. (paragraph 1)
Each completed entry permit, including those canceled or revoked, shall be retained for one year by the organization responsible for the entry and be available for review. (paragraph 2)
The TWA alarm is calculated over an eight-hour exposure. (paragraph 4)
