HAZCOM is a performance-based program and successful implementation can only be measured by evaluating worker awareness of work area/shop hazards. (paragraph 2)
Validate that there is a current SDS for each potentially hazardous chemical in use and/or on hand in the shop. (paragraph 3)
Confirm the shop’s chemical inventory lists every chemical in the shop. (paragraph 3)
Document training validation on AF 55, Employee Safety and Health Record. (paragraph 4)
