Applies to: This publication is applicable to all authorized users of Air Force Government Motor Vehicles (GMV) regardless of service affiliation to include Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve, as well as Civil Air Patrol and nonappropriated fund activities.
Recertification training is required every two years.
Attachment 2, Performance Test, will be used for documentation of student proficiency for initial and recertification training.
Trainee must possess a valid state driver’s license.
A certified trainer is responsible for ensuring the trainee completes on-the-job training after completing the Halvorsen course and prior to licensing IAW DAFI 24-605 Vol5, Para 2.11.5.2.
Monitor the trainee to guarantee compliance with all safety operations and check-out procedures.
