It adds requirements for aircraft painting, washing, corrosion control training, facility access, scheduling, inspections, and records. It also specifies travel pod paint standards, waiver assessments, and aircraft paint placard dimensions and color.
Applies to: This supplement applies to all 51st Fighter Wing aircraft, transient aircraft and units deployed to Osan Air Base, Korea.
Records will be maintained for a minimum of 2 years. (paragraph 8)
Maintenance personnel will receive annual Corrosion Prevention and Control training during Mission Orientation Training. (paragraph 8)
Ensures compliance with 51st Fighter Wing Commander (51 FW/CC) directive to keep building 1750 closed for paint operations based on out-of-limits chemical exposure limits. (paragraph 8)
Aircraft will have a completed hangar checklist prior to entry into the Corrosion Control Facility. (paragraph 8)
Installing and removing covers and tape is the only time that personnel are allowed on top of the aircraft in the wash rack. (paragraph 8)
