It addresses vehicle administration, driver licensing, traffic violations, rules of the road, parking, towing, impoundment, and motorcycle and off-highway vehicle operation. It establishes mandatory actions for traffic privileges, point assessments, revocations, and Incident Reports.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all land areas under the jurisdiction of the MARB Installation Commander (452 AMW/CC) and applies to all individuals at all levels—both military and civilian—who require access to or operate a vehicle on MARB, including Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG) personnel.
When two or more violations are committed on a single occasion, points will be assessed for each violation. (paragraph 7)
No points are assessed for revocation or suspension actions. (paragraph 2)
Any revocation based on traffic points must be no less than six (6) months. (paragraph 3)
Driving or in physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating beverage where the Breath Alcohol Content (BrAC) or Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is at least 0.05% and less than 0.08% by volume. (paragraph 6)
For drivers under 21 years of age, a BrAC or BAC of .01% or more.
