Applies to: This instruction implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 91-2, Safety Programs, and applies to all organizations assigned to or operating from Luke Air Force Base (AFB).
56 CES Fire and Emergency Services Flight notification is not required for movement of HC/D 1.3 and or 1.4 munitions. (paragraph 2)
The 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron (EMS) Munitions Control will notify the 56 CES Fire and Emergency Services Flight Emergency Communications Center of all HC/D 1.1 and 1.2 explosive movements between Luke AFB flight line and the MSA. (paragraph 2)
The owning unit(s) Weapons Expediter will notify the Maintenance Operations Center of location, tail number, munitions quantity, type, fire class/division, and chemical hazard symbol(s) if any. (paragraph 2)
The Maintenance Operations Center will notify the 56 CES Fire and Emergency Services Flight of the aircraft(s) explosive or non-explosive status. (paragraph 2)
Transient Alert will provide the Maintenance Operations Center and 56 CES Fire and Emergency Services Flight with aircraft type, location, tail number, munitions quantity, type, fire class/division, and chemical hazard symbol(s) if any. (paragraph 2)
