Applies to: This publication applies to all Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG) Units.
All members receiving the BAS must pay for all meals or rations received from a government mess or provided on behalf of the government (except when a patient in a hospital). (paragraph 34-240)
All requests for exceptions to this policy must be forwarded to the 56th Force Support Squadron Commander (56 FSS/CC) in writing, explaining the circumstances and must include a date and time requested for approval. (paragraph 34-240)
Enlisted members who receive BAS are authorized to use the dining facility as cashpaying customers. (paragraph 2)
Dependents of deployed members Monday-Friday for dinner only; weekends all day. (paragraph 2)
Foreign military members are authorized use of the Ray V. Hensman and T-Bolt Cafe dining facilities, to include ordering flight/box meals. (paragraph 4)
