It assigns duties to aircraft maintenance units, the Electrical Environmental Section, the TA Section, and the Fuels Management Element. Requirements include inspections, control logs, form documentation, ready-reserve status, emergency servicing, and deployment preparation.
Applies to: This instruction is applicable to the 19th Airlift Wing, and all aircraft maintenance activities within the 19th Maintenance Group and 314th Maintenance Group.
Be allocated 1 LOX carts per 4-5 aircraft per AMU. (paragraph 2)
Headings for the log will contain as a minimum: cart number, aircraft tail number, and date serviced. (paragraph 2)
Control log will be maintained for a minimum of 1 month. (paragraph 2)
If LOX usage is not documented on the AFTO Form 134, the using AMU supervision will be notified and the cart will not be serviced until the proper documentation has been completed. (paragraph 2)
Perform a serviceability inspection prior to use IAW applicable technical data for the LOX cart being used. (paragraph 2)
