Applies to: This publication implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 32-10, Installations and Facilities. It establishes procedures to permit access to certain rooms on Laughlin AFB and applies to individuals at all levels who have access or want to gain access to certain rooms/buildings.
No one, except as identified in paragraph 2, may start, stop, adjust or tamper with any facility heating or air conditioning equipment. (paragraph 4)
No one (listed here or not) may use any electrical equipment room for storage. (paragraph 5)
Contractors may only enter mechanical rooms and equipment rooms when authorized by the 47th Contracting Squadron (extension 298-5117) or by the 47th Civil Engineer Squadron. (paragraph 6)
Contractors must first sign out the appropriate room key from the Energy Management Controls Systems (EMCS), extension 298-5398, office located in Building 121. (paragraph 6)
Generator controls require monthly inspections and in the event generator does not come on-line automatically, turn on generator. Shutdown HVAC equipment. (paragraph 2)
