Applies to: This instruction serves as a basis for effective law enforcement and traffic safety operations at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) and applies to all organizations and personnel located on or within the jurisdictional limits of KAFB.
The terms "must," "shall" and "will" denote mandatory actions in this instruction.
Failure to comply with these requirements provides for administrative, judicial and/or disciplinary action as authorized by federal laws, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), Air Force (AF) directives and the laws of the state of New Mexico (NM).
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requestor’s commander (CC) for non-tiered compliance items.
